Specifically formulated to prevent the tree damage caused by borers. Larvae of these bad bugs tunnel under bark on tree trunks or lower limbs. A visual clue that this may be a problem with your tree is a gummy residue on trees of stone-type fruits where borers are feeding. The trees can then lose vigor and may even eventually die.
